Korba administration and police jointly took out flag march
Korba. The preparations of the administration and the police are complete to conduct the upcoming assembly elections fairly in a fear-free environment in the district. As soon as the code of conduct is implemented in the state, the administration and police teams will be in public places and government offices and buildings to ensure that the code of conduct is followed.
The process of removing banners, posters, slogans etc. already put up by political parties was implemented. To conduct fair elections under the guidance of District Election Officer, Collector and Superintendent of Police, the administration and police officers along with static surveillance team, flying squad are continuously keeping an eye on the publicity of political parties, campaign materials and transportation of drugs.
In this sequence, to make the residents of the district aware of the security, a flag march was taken out by the joint team of administration and police from Police Station Kotwali to Kosabari via the main square of the city.
In which a total of more than 500 officers and employees from the district administration and police participated. In Korba city, Superintendent of Police Jitendra Shukla, Additional Superintendent of Police Abhishek Verma, City Superintendent of Police Bhushan Ekka, City Superintendent of Police Darri Robinson Gudiya, Headquarters DSP Pratibha Markam, ADM Pradeep Sahu on behalf of the district administration, City Kotwal Rupak Sharma, and all the officers of the district.
The administration team along with officers and security forces conducted a flag march on foot in various squares and intersections of the city. During the flag march, the administration and police officers appealed to the common people to actively participate in the great festival of democracy.
