Korba Express catches fire, panic at railway station
Visakhapatnam: A massive fire suddenly broke out in the bogies of Korba Express (18517) train which reached Visakhapatnam from Korba in Chhattisgarh on Sunday. This train was going from Korba to Tirumala. When the train stopped at the station, this incident of fire took place on the fourth platform of the station. In this incident of fire, three AC bogies have been completely burnt. However, there is no news of any casualty in this. Railway officials initially found that this accident happened due to a short circuit in the toilet of B7 bogie. As a result, B7 bogie was completely burnt, while B6 and M1 bogies were partially burnt. Fortunately, there were no passengers in the train at the time of the incident, due to which a major accident was averted. Railway employees have reached the spot and are trying to control the fire.
