Kothagudem: Police caught a bike thief

Kothagudem: One-Town police on Friday nabbed a bike thief and sent him to judicial custody. During checking of vehicles at Post Office Centre by SI Vijaya and staff, a man was riding a two-wheeler and was trying to escape on seeing the police. One-Town CI Karunakar informed that the police have nabbed the accused Salla Chandrasekhar, a resident of Ratnala Cheruvu, Mangalagiri in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh and lives in Housing Board Colony in Kothagudem.

During interrogation, the accused confessed to stealing three bikes from Kothagudem bus stand area. The CI congratulated Head Constable Gani, Constable Suresh, Veeranna, Naresh and Prasad for nabbing the bike thief.
