Kozhikode native dies in Oman road accident
MUSCAT: A Malayali migrant died in a road accident in Oman on Monday. The deceased is Muhammad Shafi (28), son of Arikunnummal Muhammad Ali, resident of Kuttayadi, Kozhikode. The accident happened in Muladha near Musanah, Oman. Shafi was working in a private company in Oman for eight years. he is not married.
After completing some procedures, the body will be brought to Kerala from Rustaq Hospital in Oman. The procedures will be completed under the supervision of KMCC. Meanwhile, another expatriate being treated at a hospital in Jeddah died of a stroke. The deceased is Ilaidath Abdurrahman (53), a native of Malappuram Manjeri Karaparambu.
He is undergoing treatment at Jeddah King Fahd Hospital for the last 15 days. Abdurrahman had reached Jeddah two months ago. Before this he had worked in Riyadh for 15 years. He is the son of the late Abubakar and Fatima. Wife: Khamrunisa. Children: Fatima Fida, Abubakar Rihan, Muhammad Nazan.
