Kris Jenner revealed about her past infidelity
Kris Jenner opened up about her past infidelities, saying that her biggest regret in life was cheating on the late Robert Kardashian Sr. with Caitlyn Jenner, reports PageSix.
While discussing her former ex Tristan Thompson on Thursday’s episode of ‘The Kardashians,’ Khloe Kardashian questioned her mother about why she was unfaithful to her late father.
“What was your mindset when you cheated?” Khloe asked Kris. “When you did this to my father, and you had four kids and you had a family? Yes, I know you were really young.”
Chris answered the question by saying that she was really young and dumb, which plays into it because you don’t really understand the consequences of your actions.
According to PageSix, Chris was married to Robert Sr. from 1978 to 1991.
During their ill-fated marriage, the couple welcomed daughters Kourtney, Kim, and Khloe, as well as son Robert Jr.
“The Momager” met Caitlin in 1990, who publicly came out as transgender in 2015. The couple eventually divorced in 2014.
“But what wasn’t my dad doing that made you want to look elsewhere?” Khloe checked again.
“I don’t know because he was a great husband and a great father and I think I got into a situation where I thought the grass was greener somewhere else and I made a huge mistake,” Chris said. “This is the biggest regret of my life.”
He added, “I’m not proud of the way I behaved during that time, but you know what? Everything happens for a reason.”
“I really live my life thinking that God has a plan, and without all this happening, Kendall and Kylie [Jenner] would never have happened.”
Kris later expressed in a confessional why she hopes Khloe will think twice before breaking up with the NBA player with whom she has daughter True and son Tatum.
“When I got divorced, Robert and I became best friends,” Chris said. We talked on the phone all day, helped each other all the time, and I regret it.”
“I thought, wow, what was I thinking? So I want Khloe to be really careful when she makes these decisions and she has to let someone go.”
