Kuthera Cooperative Society got the title of first prize

Hamirpur. District level Cooperative Day celebration of 70th All India Cooperative Week was organized in Town Bharari on Saturday. Former Chief Minister of the state Prof. was present as the chief guest. Prem Kumar Dhumal participated. In the end, the primary agricultural service cooperative societies doing better work in Hamirpur district were also honored by the chief guest.

At the district level, Kuthera Cooperative Society has been declared first, Buni Cooperative Society second and the restored Dalcheda Cooperative Society third. Whereas at the block level, Chauri Cooperative Sabha in Sujanpur has been selected first, Lambri Cooperative Sabha second and Baglu Cooperative Sabha third.

Similarly, in Nadaun block, Bada Cooperative Sabha has been declared first, Jaladi Sonkhlen Cooperative Sabha second and Balduhak Cooperative Sabha third. In Hamirpur block, Mazhog Khas Cooperative Sabha has been selected first, Jhaniari Devi Cooperative Sabha second and Bajuri Khas Cooperative Sabha third.
In Bijhri block, Buthan Cooperative Sabha stood first, Bhota Cooperative Sabha second and Deotsiddh Cooperative Sabha third. In Badsar block, Nanawan Cooperative Sabha has been selected first, Bani Cooperative Sabha second and Tikkar Rajputan Cooperative Sabha third.

In Taunidevi block, Gavaradu Cooperative Sabha stood first, Sarahkad Cooperative Sabha second and Patnaun Cooperative Sabha third. In Bhoranj block, Maid Cooperative Sabha has been selected first, Bharari Devi Cooperative Sabha second and Lathwan Cooperative Sabha third. Yashveer Singh Patial, President of District Cooperative Development Union Limited, Hamirpur, said that at present, out of 225 primary agricultural service cooperative societies in Hamirpur district, 215 cooperative societies are earning profits worth lakhs of rupees every year. In such a situation, direct and indirect employment is also being provided to about 800 families. In this way, cooperative societies are doing commendable work in improving the social and economic level of their members. Apart from this, goods are being made available to the people from the market under one roof at cheaper prices. Yashveer Singh Patial further informed that there are 225 primary agricultural service cooperative societies in Hamirpur district.
