Laborer dies, accident in cement factory

A worker got electrocuted while working at the ACC Cement factory in Jamul area on Thursday morning. He was completely burnt due to the electric shock. When the workers working nearby saw him, there was a commotion. He was immediately taken to Sparsh Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

According to the information received from Jamul Police, the deceased has been identified as Mohd. Abid (28 years). He lived in Vishwakarma Chowk, Ward No. 2 of Jamul Municipality area. He was working as an electrician in ACC Cement for the last 10-12 years. He has two children and a wife at home. There is mourning in the house after the news of the husband’s death.

According to the information received from Jamul Police, Abid had gone to the factory for work like every day. He was repairing the fault of the electricity supply in the godown between 9-10 am. He did not pay attention to safety at that time, due to which he got electrocuted.
