Laborer dies in drunken brawl, 3 people in custody

Chennai (IANS) | Three people have been detained after a laborer died in a drunken brawl in Chennai. Police gave this information. The police have not disclosed the names of the accused.
The victim, identified as Gyanvel (37), was found murdered near Taramani railway station premises on Sunday night.
According to the police, the incident took place when Gnavel was consuming alcohol near the station and an argument broke out between the three suspects who were drinking nearby.
The gang attacked Gnanavel with sticks and repeatedly hit him on the head.
Local passers-by informed the police that a man was lying in a pool of blood. Police took him to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.
Police said that the investigation is going on about all three people.
