Lakhs of rupees kept in the trunk of the bike were stolen, police immediately blocked the road

Raigarh: A case of theft has come to light. According to the police, today Manoj Kumar Dadsena, Supervisor, Jai Maa Nathal Dai Crusher Udyog Timralga Chandrapur had come to the Bank of Baroda located near Kevadbari bus stand to cash the self check of Rs 9 lakh given by its crusher owner Manish Aggarwal. After withdrawing the check from the bank, Manoj kept the money in the trunk of his motorcycle and was going towards Kewarabari Chowk, when amidst the traffic jam at the Chowk, unknown persons took out the money from the trunk.

On receiving information about the incident, Kotwali police immediately reached the spot. After interrogating the victim, preliminary investigation and checking the CCTV footage installed near the incident spot, there is a possibility that 4 unknown persons riding on 2 Honda Unicorn bikes may have chased Manoj Dadsena and carried out the incident. SSP Sadanand Kumar has directed all the police station in-charges to block the area and trace the unknown accused. Police teams have started locating the accused.
