Land dispute in Madhepura, younger brother beat elder brother with sticks, beat him to death

A case of fight between two brothers has come to light in Madhepura over a land dispute. In the fight, the younger brother killed the elder brother by beating him with sticks. The case pertains to Sukhasan Chakla ward number 11 of Sadar police station area. According to the information received, there was a dispute between the two brothers regarding the land for a long time. The dispute increased so much that the matter came to a fight and in anger, the younger brother beat his elder brother to death by beating him with bamboo. The name of the deceased youth is Prem Ram.
Fight between brothers over land
Giving information about the incident, Prem Ram’s wife Veena Devi said that her husband was resting on the scaffolding and their child was also sleeping there. Shortly his brother-in-law Biren Ram came there and started abusing him. There was a dispute between the two regarding cutting of soil. After which Biren Ram threatened to kill Prem Ram. An argument started between the two regarding this matter and soon the matter escalated so much that the accused started beating with sticks and bamboo and kept on beating till death.
The accused absconded after committing the crime
Veena Devi told that all the people of Dayad kept watching this incident, but no one helped. Later, with the help of the people around, Prem Ram was brought to Sadar Hospital for treatment, where he was declared dead on seeing the doctor. After this incident, the accused fled away from home along with his entire family. The family of deceased Prem Ram is in bad condition by crying. At the same time, the police has started investigating this matter. The police took the body into custody and got the post-mortem done at Sadar Hospital. Police has registered a case of murder and started investigation.
