Law and order stalled in VIP district, miscreants openly attacking with knives and sticks

Bhilai: A video from Durg district is going viral rapidly. In the video, some miscreants first stabbed a young man, after which when the young man fell unconscious and fell on the ground, the accused attacked him brutally with an iron rod.

Actually, the viral video is from City Kotwali police station area. This incident happened at Utai Chowk around 12 noon on Tuesday. Gautam Kannaujiya (21 years), resident of Diparapara Mochi Mohalla, was standing at Durg Utai Chowk. At the same time, Ganesh Oriya, resident of Indira Nagar police station and a habitual goon, reached the police station along with about half a dozen of his associates. Everyone had a knife, rod, stick and iron bar in their hands.

All the accused got down from the bike and started attacking Gautam Kannaujiya with a knife. After this, when Gautam fell on the ground at Utai Chowk, Ganesh Oriya and his companions started brutally attacking him with a bar. During this time, one of his friends was making a video from his mobile. After the incident of assault, all the accused fled from the spot. At present the police have started searching for the accused.
