Leopard dies of pain and starvation in Umerkote, had attacked humans
Umerkote: A leopard died of pain and starvation in Umerkote said reports on Tuesday. The leopard was suffering since some time. The people of the village had attacked it a few days back as it was attacking them regularly.
According to reports, a few days ago a tiger fatally attacked several people in Gariabandh district of Chhattisgarh. People caught it by spreading a net and handed it over to the forest department. The leopard died before it could be shifted to the Raipur forest safari.
The leopard attacked and injured two people in a single day in Baruka village of Gariabandh district. It used to attack small children. The forest officer said that the leopard was in severe pain due to the fracture of its right front leg and some teeth. It was weak and could not hunt. As a result, it used to come towards the village and attack people.
