Leopard found dead in the ravine of Baret village, police and forest department officials reached the spot

Chintpurni. A female leopard was found dead around 10 am near the cremation ground in Baret village near Shitala of Chintpurni assembly. When someone from the village saw this leopard, he immediately informed the police about it, on which Chintpurni police reached the spot. Forest department officials have also reached the spot.

As soon as the news of the dead leopard came to light, a large number of local people reached the said place to see the dead leopard. Chintpurni Police ASI Ramesh Sharma said that he had received the news of the leopard being dead, on which his team reached the spot and forest department officials were also called to the spot. He told that how the leopard died is not yet known and the post-mortem of the leopard will be conducted by the Forest Department.
