LeT, Khalistan Terrorist Arsh Dala’s Plot To Murder Religious Leaders Revealed
In the thick of the ongoing National Investigation Agency (NIA) probe to apprehend the Khalistan extremists, the Delhi Police Special Cell on Monday, made sparking revelations, unfolding the nexus between Khalistan terrorist Arshdeep Singh, alias Arsh Dala, and Pakistan-based terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), to murder religious leaders who are against Khalistan.
Amid the rising diplomatic tensions between India and Canada over the killing of Khalistan terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a dossier put together by Indian intelligence agencies listed Arsh Dala, who fled India in July 2020, as one of the pro-Khalistani elements based in Canada.
Conspiracy to kill leaders against Khalistan movement
Delhi Police report revealed that Dala came into contact with criminal Jagjit Singh Jagga when the latter was absconding in a case, earlier this year. Dala allegedly instructed Jagga to murder some leaders of a Hindu organisation and prominent leaders who are against the Khalistani Movement.
A nexus had developed between Pakistan-based terrorists Suhail, Naushad, Jagjit Singh Jagga and Arsh Dala to commit terror activities on the instruction of LeT. On the other hand, Dalla instructed them to act in Punjab and other parts of the country.
The report added that they were tasked with killing sadhus, and religious leaders and committing targeted killings in Punjab. They received money and weapons from Suhail and Arshdeep. To prove their credibility and create communal disharmony, the accused lured a boy named Rajkumar in December 2022 and murdered him at their rented house in Bhalswa Dairy, Jahangirpuri, Delhi.
“They slit his throat, recorded the killing in a video, and sent the video to Suhail through the Signal app. Jagga was in touch with Suhail. They also disclosed information about the recovery of Rajkumar’s body, the weapon used, and the location of the incident, as well as the recovery of the video from their mobile phones. They also revealed the mode of payment they received,” it added.
