Light To Moderate Rain To Lash Parts Of Odisha For Several Days, Check IMD’s Day-Wise Prediction
Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) today predicted light to moderate rain over different parts of Odisha for several days.
While predicting light to moderate rain/thundershower, the weather department also issued yellow warnings for heatwave for some districts and advised people to take precautions to stay safe.
Day 1 (Valid upto 8.30 AM of 05.04.2024):
Light to moderate rain/thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Rayagada, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Koraput, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh & dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.
Yellow Warning: Heat wave condition very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Balangir, Keonjhar, Boudh, Malkangiri, Nayagarh and Angul.
Warm night condition very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Balangir, Kandhamal, Boudh and Bhadrak.
Day 2 (Valid from 8.30 AM of 05.04.2024 to 8.30 AM of 06.04.2024):
Dry weather very likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha.
Yellow Warning: Heat wave condition very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Balangir, Keonjhar, Boudh, Malkangiri, Nayagarh and Angul.
Warm night condition very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Balangir, Kalahandi, Boudh and Bhadrak.
Day 3 (Valid from 8.30 AM of 06.04.2024 to 8.30 AM of 07.04.2024):
Light to moderate rain/thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Dhenkanal, Angul, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Jajpur, Nuapada & dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.

Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Balasore, and Deogarh.
Heat wave condition very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Balangir, Keonjhar, Boudh, Malkangiri, Nayagarh and Angul.
Warm night condition very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Bolangir, Kandhamal, Boudh and Bhadrak

Light to moderate rain/thundershower very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of North Odisha, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Boudh, Ganjam and at one or two places over the rest districts of Odisha
Yellow Warning: Thunderstorm with lightning accompanied with gusty surface wind speed reaching 40-50 KMPH very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts Bargarh, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Angul, Dhenkanal, Balasore, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Sambalpur and Deogarh.

Light to moderate rain/thundershower very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Coastal Odisha, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Nayagarh, Boudh, Kandhamal, Rayagada and at one or two places over the rest districts of Odisha.
Yellow Warning: Thunderstorm with lightning accompanied with gusty surface wind speed reaching 40-50 KMPH very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts North Coastal Odisha, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar,Dhenkanal, Khurda, Angul, Nayagarh, Puri, Ganjam and Kandhamal.
