Lightning strikes farmer’s house, two injured

Jashpur: A father and son were seriously injured after being hit by lightning in Chandagarh village of Pathalgaon. For the last two days, incidents of lightning along with continuous heavy rains have been taking place in this region.

Here in Tamta area, after heavy rains, lightning suddenly fell on the house of a farmer. Due to which Shyamsundar Chakresh and his 15 year old son sitting inside the house got hit by it and got burnt badly. Both the injured have been admitted to Tamta Hospital for immediate treatment. According to Dr. Praveen Kindo, as the treatment of both the injured started immediately, their condition is now out of danger and they are expected to recover soon.
