Liquor seller caught red handed

Balod: A person has been caught red handed while selling liquor illegally in Suregaon police station area. On which section 34 (2), 59 (a) Ch.G. Action was taken under the Excise Act. 29 pauvva of country plain liquor, cash amount of test purchase amounting to Rs. 100, totaling 05.220 bulk liter worth about Rs. Rs.2320/- were seized from the possession of the accused.

During interrogation, the accused revealed his name as Girdhar Baghel, father late Dhiraji Baghel, age 48 years, resident of Kevatnawagaon. The police took further action and sent the accused to jail.
