Liquor shops will remain closed from 5 to 7 November and 15 to 17 November

Dhamtari: Collector and District Magistrate Rituraj Raghuvanshi has declared a dry day with the aim of conducting the election work smoothly and impartially under the Assembly Elections 2023. Under the first phase of voting from November 5 to November 7, he has declared dry day by keeping the country liquor shop Composite Sihawa and country/foreign liquor shop Nagari of Dhamtari district bordering Kanker and Kondagaon district closed.

Similarly, the date of voting for the second phase of the Assembly General Elections 2023 is 17th November, in order to conduct the elections smoothly and fairly in Assembly constituencies 56 Sihawa, 57 Kurud and 58 Dhamtari of Dhamtari district, all the country liquor shops/shops located in the respective assembly constituencies. Country Liquor Shop, Composite/Foreign Liquor Shop/Premium Shop, FM 3, Hotel Bar/F.4(a) Business Club, Liquor Warehouse Dhamtari has been declared as dry day by keeping it closed from 15th November to 17th November.
