Liquor shops will remain closed tomorrow

Jashpur. On the occasion of Moharram, July 29 has been declared a dry day by the government. Collector Dr. Ravi Mittal has issued an order to keep all country and foreign liquor shops in the district completely closed on July 29, 2023, on the occasion of Moharram i.e. from 10.00 pm on July 28 till 09.00 am on July 30, 2023.

The same Bemetara Collector and District Magistrate Mr. P.S.Elma has issued an order declaring Saturday, July 29, 2023 as a dry day on the occasion of Moharram. On this occasion, country, foreign liquor shops and F.L. 1 (DD), CS-2 (DD), CS-2 (DD-Composite) and liquor storage/warehouse will remain closed.
