Liquor smuggling in train, a person caught with liquor worth Rs 72 thousand from the station
Vadodara: LCB police caught a person with foreign liquor worth Rs 72 thousand from platform number 1 of Vadodara railway station. A team of Railway SOG police was patrolling on Monday night.
Meanwhile, Amritsar Kochavalli train was standing on platform number one. He was getting off the train. Then the LCB staff stopped a person carrying a suspicious bag and bottles of foreign liquor were found in the bag.
So when he was taken to the LCB office and interrogated, he told that his name was Sunil Radshyam Yadav (Resident Gotri, Bansal Mall, Near Elite Harmony). So liquor worth Rs 72 thousand was found in his bag. So when asked from whom he had brought the liquor and to whom he had to give it, he told that he had brought it for himself and his relatives. Hence the LCBA along with the quantity of foreign liquor has been handed over to Western Railway Police.
