Lizard found in food at Anganwadi centre, 20 children sick
Nalanda: A lizard was found in food at an Anganwadi centre in Nalanda district on Thursday. 20 children fell ill after eating the food. This case is of Anganwadi centre located in Sheikhpura of Rahui police station area of Nalanda district. Family members told that after studying in Anganwadi centre Dekpura, Rasiya was served in lunch to the small children. The child started vomiting after eating. Meanwhile, a dead lizard was found in a child’s plate. After this incident, the children got scared and informed their family members about it.
A doctor present at Community Health Centre Rahui told that all the children are now out of danger and their condition is fine. For now, the child will be kept here for treatment. Let us tell you that on hearing this news, anger spread among the local people. Angry family members reached the Anganwadi centre and took the cook and other employees present there hostage. The police was informed to control the situation, after which the police team reached the spot and controlled the situation.
