Loan up to Rs 3 lakh will be available at concessional interest rate, take advantage of PM Vishwakarma Scheme
Mahasamund. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched the PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana. Under this scheme, the government will provide a loan of Rs 3 lakh at 5 percent concessional interest rate to the eligible people. In the first phase, eligible persons will be given a loan of Rs 1 lakh, while in the second phase, a loan of up to Rs 2 lakh will be available.
After skill verification, 5 days basic training and 15 days or more advanced training will be given. There is a provision to give a daily allowance of Rs 500 for training. There is a facility to provide a grant of Rs 15,000 as toolkit incentive. As an incentive for digital transactions, Rs 1 per transaction has been fixed for a maximum of 100 transactions per month.
General Manager District Trade and Industry Center said that under this scheme, people working in 18 sectors can avail its benefits. These include masons, barbers, garland makers, washermen, tailors, locksmiths, carpenters, blacksmiths, goldsmiths, gunsmiths, sculptors, stone carvers, stone breakers, cobblers, shoe makers, boat makers, basket-mat-broom makers.
, doll and toy manufacturers, hammer and toolkit manufacturers, fishing net manufacturers can register on PM Vishwakarma Yojana portal through Choice Center to avail the benefits of this scheme. For this, Aadhaar, mobile number, bank details and ration card will be required. To avail the benefits of this scheme, one must be 18 years of age. Should not have taken loan under any government scheme in the last 5 years under self-employment/business development schemes.
