Loco pilot dies in road accident

Bilaspur. Three bike riders died in two separate road accidents. There are two real brothers among them. Vinay Kumar Rai, 26, and Vivek Kumar Rai, 24, residents of River View Colony in Koni area, had gone to a dhaba in Sendri to have food on Wednesday night. He was returning home by Bullet at around 11.30 pm.

Meanwhile, a speeding unknown vehicle hit him from behind. Both the brothers fell several feet away along with the bike. Both were sent to Sims for treatment. Due to serious condition, Vivek was referred to Raipur. Both of them died during treatment. Vivek Rai got a job in Railways. He was taking loco pilot training at the training center located in Uslapur. In the second accident, 54-year-old Vijay Yadav, resident of Devnandan Nagar, had gone to Parsada to participate in a Dashgatra. While returning, his bike was hit by an unknown car in front of the petrol pump of Khaira village. He was brought to Ratanpur Community Health Center in critical condition. He died during treatment.
