Lok Sabha elections: Raghunandan Rao, Aruna and Eatala filed nominations
Hyderabad: Three senior BJP leaders – M Raghunandan Rao, DK Aruna and Eatala Rajender – filed separate nominations to contest the Lok Sabha elections on May 13.
Rao, a former MLA, is contesting from Medak Parliament constituency, while Aruna, who is the BJP national vice president, is contesting from Mahabubnagar Parliament constituency and Rajendra, also a former MLA, is contesting from Malkajgiri Parliament constituency.
After seeking blessings from their family elders and offering special prayers at temples, Rao, Aruna and Rajendra filed their nomination papers.
With the support of their local leaders and cadre, they took out separate rallies before reaching the returning officer’s office in their respective constituencies to file nomination papers.
Union Tourism Minister and Telangana BJP state president G Kishan Reddy accompanied Rajendra during an election rally in Medchal-Malkajgiri district. Speaking on the occasion, Kishan Reddy said that BJP will be victorious in most of the parliamentary constituencies in Telangana and once again clarified that BJP is not a ‘B’ team for any party.
