Low Pressure over bay becomes well marked,very heavy rainfall alert in Odisha
Bhubaneswar: Very heavy rainfall likely to lash Odisha from today due to the low pressure area that lies as well marked over the Bay of Bengal, IMD said.The system is likely to move northwestwards towards north Odisha & adjoining West Bengal coasts during the next 24 hours, it added.“Yesterday’s Low-Pressure Area over central parts of North Bay of Bengal lies as a Well-Marked Low Pressure Area at 0530 hrs IST of today, the 30th September over Northwest Bay of Bengal. It is likely to move northwestwards towards north Odisha & adjoining West Bengal coasts during next 24 hours,” the weather department stated.The IMD on Friday had issued orange warning of heavy to very heavy rain for three days.
