Ludhiana: Case registered against a man for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl

Ludhiana: Jagraon City Police has registered a case against a man who sexually abused a 15-year-old girl yesterday. The victim’s mother told the police that her daughter studies in class 5. She used to go to the Gurudwara daily, but for the last few days she was not going there. When asked the reason for this, she told that a man living near the Gurudwara was sexually abusing her. He used to stop the victim on the way. After taking her home, he used to remove her clothes and touch her private parts. He told that later the daughter also identified the suspect and his house. After this, she lodged a complaint, after which a case was registered against him. SI Kirandeep Kaur said that a case has been registered under various sections of BNS and POCSO Act.
