Ludhiana: Case registered against youth for raping 13 year old girl

Ludhiana: Police have registered a case against a youth who raped a 13-year-old girl for six months. After receiving a complaint yesterday, Jodhewal police registered a case against the youth. The accused has been identified as Rustam, a resident of Bihar, who now lives in Janta Colony of the city. The victim’s mother told the police in a complaint that on Friday her daughter told that she has been friends with the suspect living in her neighbourhood for the last six months. The suspect Rustam used to come to the victim’s house and have physical relations with her. The complainant told the police that the suspect kept sexually exploiting her daughter by luring her with marriage. The complainant told that when her daughter refused to compromise, the suspect threatened her with dire consequences. Yesterday, when the complainant came to know that the suspect was sexually exploiting her daughter, she lodged a complaint against him with the police. Meanwhile, the suspect absconded.
