Made friend’s wife a victim of his lust, called her to hotel on pretext of job

Bijnor: Bijnor police in Lucknow has arrested the hotel operator who raped friend’s wife on the pretext of giving her a job. The accused committed the crime by giving her a drugged cold drink. Ghazipur police has arrested the accused who raped a girl on the pretext of marriage and forced her to abort the incident.

Additional Inspector Bijnor Ajay Pal Singh said that Abhimanyu Kumar, resident of South City, has been arrested. The accused is a partner in Vinayak Hotel near Bijnor CRPF Camp. Abhimanyu called his friend’s wife to the hotel for an interview on the pretext of giving her a job. After talking for a while, Abhimanyu ordered a cold drink. The woman fell unconscious after drinking it. On regaining consciousness, the victim lodged a protest with Abhimanyu. On the basis of which the accused has been arrested.

Anuj Verma, resident of Indiranagar Ghazipur village, was arrested near his house on Thursday morning. Inspector Ghazipur Vikas Rai said that on Wednesday a girl had filed a case against Anuj. Anuj had sexually exploited the girl by giving her false hope of marriage. When the victim became pregnant, the accused forcibly aborted her by giving her medicine. The inspector said that Anuj works in a private company.
