Maharashtra CM Shinde met Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with his family
New Delhi (IANS). Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde along with his family met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday. Shinde had taken along his father Sambhaji Shinde, wife Lata Shinde, son Shrikant Shinde (also a Lok Sabha MP), daughter-in-law Rushali Shinde and grandson Rudraksh to meet the Prime Minister.
Shinde’s family meeting with Prime Minister Modi is also being seen as a sign of his growing stature in the NDA and strengthening ties with the BJP. Talking to reporters after meeting Prime Minister Modi with his family, Eknath Shinde said that today the entire family, including his father, had a goodwill meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He would like to express his thanks and gratitude to the Prime Minister for giving a lot of time to his family despite it being a goodwill meeting. Along with this, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra further added that during the meeting, he informed the Prime Minister about the situation arising out of the rains in the state and the accident in Raigad, and also discussed with the Prime Minister about other projects stuck in Dharavi and Mumbai and various important projects going on in the state.
