Gold prices are falling: Today’s situation
Tamil Nadu: In Chennai today (December 9), the price of gold jewelry has decreased by Rs 320 per sovereign.
Gold prices have been fluctuating since the beginning of this month. In Chennai, on Saturday, the price of gold jewelry increased by Rs 40 per gram to Rs 12,040, while the price per sovereign increased by Rs 320 to Rs 96,320.
On Monday, the first day of the week, gold prices remained unchanged and continued to be sold at the same price.
Following this, the price of gold jewelry in Chennai has decreased by Rs 320 per sovereign today, and it is now being sold at Rs 96,000 per sovereign and Rs 12,000 per gram.
The price of silver has increased by Re 1 per gram to Rs 199, and the price of one kilogram (silver bullion) has increased by Rs 1,000 to Rs 1.99 lakh.
