In an interview to Indian Express, Bhatt sahab told that he had to leave Aamir Khan’s film ‘Ghulam’ because the actor had asked him to dedicate his whole life to it. Let us tell you that Mahesh Bhatt was going to direct this film earlier. But when he left the film, then Vikram Bhatt directed it. Ghulam was an action thriller film in which Rani Mukherjee was seen opposite him.
Mahesh Bhatt said, ‘I decided to leave this film. Aamir Khan was very passionate about the film, he asked me if I could put my passion in it? I did not think that films mean so much to me that I would dedicate my whole life to it. It doesn’t mean anything to me and if I say it like that then it would be a lie. The director said that I definitely like making films but I can’t give my whole life for it. Mahesh Bhatt told that Aamir Khan was surprised to hear his answer. After this, Mahesh Bhatt suggested Vikram Bhatt’s name to Aamir for this project. He told Aamir that ‘if there is one person who can give his life for this, then it is Vikram Bhatt.’ Refreshing old memories, Mahesh Bhatt said after the screening that his brother made a much better film than him. Mahesh Bhatt and Vikram Bhatt have once again come together for the film Bloody Ishq. Avika Gaur and Vardan Puri will be seen in this film.
