217 liters of liquor and 800 kg Mahua Lahan seized, Excise Department took major action
Raigarh: In view of the Assembly general elections, with the aim of preventing illegal storage, sale and transportation of liquor, under the direction of Collector Karthikeya Goyal and under the guidance of Excise Commissioner Ramkrishna Mishra, by Excise Sub Inspector Vikas Pal Sande of Excise Circle-Raigarh South, Village-Taparda, Police Station -On November 13, 217 liters of hand-furnished liquor and 800 kg of Mahua Lahan were seized in Pusaur.
Similarly, on the same day, 215 liters of Hand Bhatti Liquor and 800 kg Mahua Lahan was seized by Excise Sub Inspector Abel Khalkho of Excise Circle-Raigarh North in Sukha Nala, Govardhanpur Raigarh. In this way, a total of 432 liters of Hand Bhatti Liquor and 1600 kg Mahua Lahan have been seized. In view of the elections, intensive patrolling is being carried out by the Excise staff and the check posts are also being monitored and immediate action is being taken whenever the issue comes to light. Excise chief constables Kamlesh Kumar Dubey and Nelson Labatt, excise constables Tuleshwar Rathore, Rajeshwar Thakur, Kuldeep Thakur and Radhegovind Pandey, city constable Saroj Kanwar, associates Thandaram Yadav and Santosh Kumar Yadav were involved in the said proceedings.
