Mahua liquor seller caught in police raid

Mahasamund. Police action on illegal liquor sale is going on continuously. In this episode, the police received information from the informer that accused Dinesh Nishad father Ganga Nishad, age 28, resident of village Medinipur, is selling mahua liquor made of illegal hand furnace in his house. 20 liters of Mahua liquor was seized from his possession.

This act of the accused was found to be an offense under section 34(2) Excise Act, crime number-431/23 was registered in police station Basna under section 34(2), the accused was arrested and sent to jail on judicial remand.
