If you do not want to bring sweets from the market, then today we have brought for you the recipe of making mawa or khoya barfi. necessary ingredients
- 500 grams khoya
- 300 grams powdered sugar
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- 1 tablespoon ghee
- Finely chopped cashews and pistachios for decoration
recipe - Heat ghee in a heavy bottom pan and add khoya to it.
- Cook it until it becomes soft and starts clumping at one place.
Now add sugar to it and mix on low flame till the sugar melts. Also add cardamom powder. - Keep stirring it continuously so that it does not stick to the pan.
- As soon as it starts collecting in the middle of the pan, turn off the flame.
- Take it out on a smooth plate and gently roll it with a rolling pin to give it a round shape.
When it cools down, cut it into desired shapes and eat it.
