Make these famous dishes of South India for Onam

In a few days, the great festival of Onam will be celebrated in Kerala. Just as 10 days of Navratri and Dussehra are celebrated in North India, in the same way this festival of 10 days of Onam is celebrated with great pomp in South India. The food served in Onam is pure vegetarian and not four or five but 21-28 types of dishes, dishes and sweets are served in Onam. So let’s know about some of these recipes.
Make Banana Pudding for Onam
In Kerala, from banana leaves to fruits, flowers and trees are very important. That’s why many types of dishes made of banana are served in Sadhya. Banana pudding is also prepared and served in Sadhya. To make banana pudding, peel and grate the banana, then cook it in a cooker with milk for two whistles. Then heat ghee in a pan and fry the banana mixture in ghee. Cook it till the mixture separates from the pan. Add sugar and cardamom powder to the pudding and serve.
Make Avial for Onam
Coconut is used to make Avial, one of the traditional recipes of Kerala. For this, vegetables are cooked with coconut. Coconut oil is used to cook this dish which is made in a very short time. You can use your favorite vegetables like raw banana, beans, green chillies, green vegetables, pumpkin (pumpkin vegetable recipe) and potatoes in it.
Make Dahi Pachadi for Onam
Pachadi is like a delicious South Indian Raita. It is served for dinner or lunch. There are two types of pachadi, in which there is a mixture of curd and other vegetables. Second spicy in which plain pachadi is tempered with mustard, urad dal, curry leaves in coconut oil. It consists of a mixture of the juice of a favorite vegetable and tamarind (imli ki chutney recipe). Spices, ginger, green chilies are used to make it even more delicious.
