Man arrested for attacking female cleaner with knife

Janjgir-Champa. The Akaltara police have arrested Vijay Yadav, the absconding accused who attacked the woman sweeper with a knife and sent him to jail. Earlier also the accused Vijay Yadav had gone to jail for molesting a minor girl and in the same case had attacked the woman for not withdrawing the case.

In fact, the accused Vijay Yadav molested the minor daughter of the victim and was also jailed in the case. After this the matter is going on in the court and the accused was pressurizing the victim’s mother who is a sweeper to withdraw this case. When the victim’s mother refused to withdraw the case, the accused Vijay Yadav attacked her with a knife when she reached the government school on July 4 to clean it.

The woman was seriously injured in the incident and was admitted to a hospital in Bilaspur. The accused had absconded after the incident and the police was engaged in the investigation. After this information was received from the informer that the accused Vijay Yadav is hiding in Gorela-Pendra-Marwahi district. After this the police raided and arrested him and sent him to jail.
