Man arrested for killing partner with the help of sister and brother in Delhi
New Delhi: A 26-year-old man has been arrested for killing his live-in partner with the help of his brother and sister in Delhi’s Teliwada area. The police gave this information on Saturday. He said that the accused has been identified as Vineet Panwar, a resident of Baghpat in Uttar Pradesh. He said that on April 12, police received information that a body of an unknown woman was lying near Krishna Public School in Karaval Nagar. Police said the body was later identified as Rohina Naaz alias Mahi (25), a resident of Mirajpur in Uttarakhand. Police said Panwar, his brother Mohit and sister Parul were the prime suspects in the murder.
He said that Panwar and Parul, along with their friend Irfan, were involved in dumping Naaz’s body in Karawal Nagar area after killing her at Teliwara floor market. Parul, Mohit and Irfan were already arrested by the police, while Panwar was absconding. Recently, the police got information that Panwar is present in Loni, Ghaziabad. A senior police officer said a crime branch team reached the spot and arrested the accused. Panwar admitted that he got to know Naaz in 2017, with whom he started a live-in relationship.
The officer said that same year she was arrested in a murder case in Baghpat and Naaz started living with Parul in Teliwara, Farsh Bazar. Later, Panwar was sentenced to life imprisonment in this case. Police said he got parole in 2022 and started working as a security guard in an engineering college in Ghaziabad. Naz was pressurizing Panwar for marriage. So he along with his brother Mohit and sister Parul conspired to kill the woman. Police said that after killing her in Teliwada, he along with Parul’s friend dumped the body in Karawal Nagar.
