Man arrested for making lewd remarks against CM in UP’s Bhadohi

Bhadohi (IANS). The administrator of a social media WhatsApp group in Uttar Pradesh’s Bhadohi district was arrested on Sunday for allegedly making lewd remarks against Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Additional Superintendent of Police Rajesh Kumar Bhartiya said that indecent language was used against Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in a group called Bhadohi Nagar Palika, which was going viral on social media. The police had received a complaint in this regard through Twitter on August 4. He said that during investigation it was found that a youth named Muslim Ansari had made the above remark.

He said that during the investigation of the case, it was also revealed that the group’s administrator Shahabuddin Ansari had connected the accused to the group. He said that on the basis of the complaint, a case was registered against Shahabuddin Ansari and Muslim Ansari under various sections. Shahabuddin was arrested on Sunday. He told that efforts are being made to arrest Muslim Ansari.
