Man crushed to death by Hyva truck in Odisha’s Puri district

Pipili: In a tragic incident, a man was crushed to death by a Hyva truck in Puri district of Odisha on Saturday. The accident took place in front of the RI office in Aitalanga of Balipatna area.

The deceased has been identified as Daitari Ojha of Sutan in Konark area. He is a carpenter by profession.

As per reports, two people were travelling in a Scooty vehicle. The man who died in this accident was sitting in the Scooty as the pinion rider. The rider was overtaking the truck when somehow he lost control and the man who was sitting on the back seat as the pinion rider was thrown out of the two wheeler.

Accordingly, he was crushed under the wheels of the Hyva truck. He was returning home after finishing his work when the accident took place.
