Man dies in road accident, accused car driver arrested by police

Korba: One person died in a road accident that took place in Kumbhatta area of the district on Sunday. He was seriously injured in a car collision. The accused car driver has been arrested by the police. The matter is of Manikpur Chowki area.

According to the information, Mahmood (40), a resident of Kuambhatta area, was going to the shop for some work. Meanwhile, a speeding car hit him from behind. He lost a lot of blood due to his head being torn. People informed the police about the incident. The police reached the spot and immediately took the injured to the hospital, but after investigation the doctors declared him dead. After the accident, the mob also caught the accused car driver. Police have arrested the accused, his car has been confiscated.
