Man kills mother with wooden plank, body lies unattended for 20 hours in Deogarh
Deogarh: In an inhumane incident, a man had reportedly killed his mother with wooden plank in Badakankarkhol village under Riamal police station limits in Deogarh district on Monday. Even after 20 hours of her death, the body lay unattended as the scientific team had not arrived.
The locals are facing a lot of trouble as they are unable to cook because the last rites of the body lying has not been performed yet. As per traditional belief, only after the last rites are performed families start cooking.
The accused has been identified as Dushashan. According to information, the man killed his mother in the afternoon. He came home at around 1:00 pm after consuming alcohol and started quarrelling with his mother. In a fit of rage, the man attacked his mother with a wooden plank, killing her.
