Man who created fake Instagram ID of girls and blackmailed them with obscene photos arrested

Cuttack: Cyber police in Cuttack today arrested a youth for allegedly creating fake Instagram IDs of over 100 girls and blackmailing them with obscene pictures in Odisha’s Kendrapara district.
The accused has been identified as Dinesh Kumar Sethi of Kakhruni area of the district.

According to reports, Dinesh used to follow the public IDs of girls and then chat with them. After getting their number, he used to create their fake ID and share their obscene pictures.
After sharing obscene pictures of girls on fake Instagram IDs, the accused used to demand money from them by assuring them to delete such pictures and comments, sources said, adding that he was operating it from outside the state.
