Man who shot at sister-in-law over money dispute arrested

Gurugram. Gurugram Police has arrested a man for shooting and injuring his sister-in-law over a money dispute. According to the police, the incident took place on the intervening night of 16-17 November. The accused has been identified as Rohit alias Kalu, resident of Ladravaan village in Jhajjar district of Haryana.

The victim alleged in the police complaint that Rohit had borrowed money from her. When he asked her for the money back, she refused. On the night of the incident, he came to the victim’s house in Khod village and opened fire on her with the intention of killing her. Based on the complaint of the complainant, a case was registered under relevant sections of the IPC at Pataudi Police Station, Gurugram. On Friday, the police arrested the accused from Bahadurgarh in Jhajjar.
