Mandi News: 16-year-old teenager drowned in Rissa river

Mandi: A 16-year-old youth died after drowning in Rissa Nall here on Saturday. The nall falls under Chowk Bradata panchayat of Sarkaghat subdivision in Mandi district. According to police, the deceased has been identified as Sahil, who had gone to play cricket with his village friends in a field adjoining Rissa.

While playing, he accidentally slipped and fell into the nall. His friends informed the policemen and they reached the spot and recovered the body. Later, after conducting post-mortem, the body was handed over to the relatives of the deceased.
