Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh will not resign, tweeted information

Imphal: The ongoing violence in Manipur since last month is not taking the name of stopping. As the state rumors about the resignation of CM Biren intensified, his workers started gathering outside the CM office. Hundreds of women gathered at Nupi Lal Complex, about 100 meters away, urging Chief Minister N Biren Singh not to resign in the wake of the violence in the northeastern state.

CM N Viren Singh has made it clear by tweeting that he will not resign from the post of Chief Minister. Earlier, several women tore the resignation letter of Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh. Let us tell you that Chief Minister N Viren Singh had a plan to go to the Raj Bhavan in Imphal to meet Governor Anusuiya Uikey. Amidst this meeting, speculations were rife that he might resign.

Let us inform that the CM of Manipur, who was burning with violence, was on his way to the Governor’s house. Meanwhile, some women supporters blocked the road outside the Raj Bhavan and did not allow the CM’s convoy to go ahead. After this some women supporters tore up his resignation and requested him not to resign.
