Manipur incident shameful, will not spare the guilty: PM Modi

New Delhi: Describing the gruesome incident with women in Manipur as shameful for the 140 crore people of the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that he is filled with anguish and anger and the incident in Manipur is a shameful incident for any civilized society. Talking to reporters in the Parliament House complex before the start of the monsoon session of Parliament, he said that this incident is shameful for 140 crore countrymen and the culprits will not be spared at all. Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed to the Chief Ministers of all the states of the country to fix law and order in their respective states and ensure the safety of women, saying that whether the incident is in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh or Manipur, the culprit will not be spared. He also appealed to all the MPs to cooperate in the discussion, saying that during the monsoon session, the government will bring bills related to public interest in Parliament.
