Manish Sisodia met his ailing wife

New Delhi (IANS) | Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, arrested on charges of alleged corruption in the Delhi Excise Policy scam, met his ailing wife at her residence on Saturday. The Delhi High Court on Friday allowed him to meet his wife. According to the order of the High Court, Sisodia can meet his wife from 10 am to 5 pm. But during this time he cannot meet the media or anyone outside his family.

Along with this, the court has also instructed him to stay away from cell phone and internet.

Sisodia, through his counsel in both the CBI and ED cases, had filed an interim bail plea citing his wife’s medical condition for bail.

Investigating agencies have filed a charge sheet against the AAP leader in the Delhi Excise Policy scam.

Earlier, the court had rejected his bail plea.
