Manthan 2023, a vibrant celebration of sustainability held in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: In a vibrant showcase of creativity and ecologically conscious living, Manthan 2023 No Kamla CCT Space at Banjara Hills brings together a diverse range of local entrepreneurs committed to transforming waste into miracles. The two-day event is a delicious experience for enthusiasts of sustainable living and exclusive artisan products. From bags and bags with practical embroidery and artisanal jewellery, the exhibition offers an endless array of recycled and affordable products. For example, Yodi Didithe, a foundation, empowers women in villages in Telangana by providing training in making hand-embroidered borders and household utensils from recycled tissue waste. While ‘Sokeri’ offers desserts without gluten, without grains and without refined sugar, ‘Use Me Works’ and ‘Scrapshala’ create functional and innovative products made from post-production tissue waste. ‘Vistaarku’ takes a green initiative with sustainable, hygienic and compostable leaf plates at home, promoting environmental protection as well as well-being. Nearly 20 brands participated in the event, creating functional pieces from recycled materials. Other eco brands showcased include Kala Vithi, Ecokari, The Bindi Project, Needle, Ushas Ethos, All That Grass, Sunny Love, Lil Looms, Commonsense and From Vedas. Starting Saturday, the two-day exhibition, which celebrates sustainable choices and an artistic innovation that aims to promote a more environmentally conscious planet, is open to everyone from 10:30 to 19:30 until December 10. . “This is the first time that we are organizing such an event and plan to do it annually. The planning and operations lasted for two months, driven by a strong sense of social responsibility and the belief in giving a new purpose to despair”, says Anita Lakshman, one of the organizers of the event at Telangana Crafts Council.
