Many children sick due to viral fever in the ashram

Sukma: 39 children have suddenly fallen ill in Sukma. Most of the children are suffering from fever. Those sick children were immediately admitted to Gadiras Hospital. Where blood test of 39 children was done. In this, four children have been found suffering from malaria. Stomach pain, itching, vomiting and diarrhea were found in 2 children and viral fever was found in 29 children. Gadiras is a case of residential potakabin.

Potakabin Superintendent Dular Singh Sherpa said that on the evening of Raksha Bandhan festival, a special meal was prepared for the children at Potakabin. All the children were fed. On Thursday morning, two children were told by the instructor to have diarrhea. He said that he took information from all the children. Some children told that we too were not feeling well, so all the children were taken to Gadiras Hospital by me and the instructors.

Dr. Rajendra Pandey told that the children who have cold, cough, viral fever and itching. It has been advised to make separate arrangements in the ashram under special care for such children till they recover. In such a situation, other children can avoid getting sick. At the same time, the four children found with malaria have been admitted to the district hospital.
