Many electronic items burnt to ashes due to high voltage supply, people angry

Nainital: Geysers, fans and other electrical items of villagers got burnt due to high voltage supply in the power line in Motahaldu, Nainital. This type of fault has been seen in all the areas of Haldwani feeder from Dholakheda power sub station.

Around 11 pm on Wednesday night, a loud noise started coming from people’s houses, after which people got scared and went out. Geysers, inverters and fans of many people were burnt to ashes. This information was immediately given to the electricity department.

Electricity supply in Haldwani feeder is completely closed since late night. Due to the big line being two facing, everyone’s electrical equipment got burnt. The department is investigating.
